FLEET MANAGEMENT
How do we manage our own fleet of 333+ Commercial Vehicles?
The team is very aggressive at managing the Fleet of DGC Owned vehicle which includes 162 Two-Wheeler Carriers, 10 Four-Wheeler Carriers, 97 Hydraulic & Flat-Bed Trailers, 18 Market Load Vehicles and 47 Mineral Transportation Vehicles.
Team ensures the efficient utilization by coordinating with multiple client across the country and planning the placement of the vehicles keeping the demand & supply balance maintained through a network design methodology of contacts in the Domestic Market.
FLEET MAINTENANCE
Multiple Tie-Ups across the country for on-site maintenance of the vehicles
Main hub for maintenance of all of our vehicles is at Jetalpur (Ahmedabad). The workshop has 6 bays with a capacity of handling 8-10 commercial vehicles at any moment. A dedicated tool store is managed by the team where-in inventory of the spare-parts, maintenance material like oils, tools etc is maintained.
Training for Drivers, Maintenance workers and welders are arranged from time-to-time. There is also a dedicated driver training hall for our drivers who are on-boarded post mandatory training & practical assessment. We also have our own body patching & fitting team that ensures that the durability of our running vehicles. Maintenance operations run round the clock 365 days in a year. Coordination with PAN India workshops for on-site maintenance is also done by Jetalpur Team.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

We make sure that all our drivers and field-workers are well trained and aware of all the best practices. Many events involving Traffic Police Officers and well-experienced training team have been conducted in the past years and we keep on bringing similar events every 3 months.
Practical Training plus videos & simulator based interactive training models are adapted to give real-like experience for handling multiple scenarios to the drivers and the maintenance team. We invest heavily on the same along with their training on behavior and ethics. Guidance on how to handle emergencies is also given to the drivers. We ensure that company values are well taught to them so that they align with our value of Task Ownership!
COMPLIANCES
Operational & Technological Compliance are given utmost importance before on-boarding a vehicle and a driver on a vehicle
Multiple types of Compliance are involved.
None of our vehicles are on-boarded if they are non-compliant in terms of technology. We ensure that each on-boarded vehicle has the following associated with it:
- FasTag
- GPS
- Happay Card
- Petro-Card
All our drivers have ATM/Debit Cards to withdraw their salaries or make any transactions. They all have safety equipment like gloves, shoes, helmets and seat-belt checks before they start their journeys.
